Q:	I grow up listening to people talk about 24K Gold, 18K gold, etc.. Could you please explain me what's the different? Isn't the gold all the same?
A:	When we refer to 24k gold, we are talking about pure gold. Pure gold does not last, mainly because it is very soft. 18k, 14k, 10k,.. gold is mixed with other metals apart of gold. For example, 14k gold is much stronger than 24k and still retains all the beauty of gold. Gold is also available in a range of colors. The different colors come from the difference in the alloy ingredients.
Q:	I am trying to buy a diamond ring but I don't understand the difference about the color. Also what about quality?
A:	There are different ways to evaluate a diamond. The 4 C’s is an international guideline used to classify diamonds: They are cut, clarity, color and carat. Cut refers to the angle and proportions of a diamond. Cut also reflects the way a raw diamond is cut into a shiny, clear one to the naked eye. It is usually cut with 58 facets. An ideal cut will allow the maximum amount of light to enter and reflect the diamond producing the sparkle that you see. There are different diamond shapes to choose from, round being the most common. Other shapes include heart, pear, marquise, emerald, oval, radiant and princess cut. Clarity determines the ‘clearness’ of a stone. It ranges from flawless (F-a perfect diamond) to imperfect (I-less perfect). The ruler for clarity is as follows: F IFS1 VVS2 VS1 VS2 SI1 SI2 SI3 I1 I2 I3 There are 100 points in one carat. The larger the diamond, the more costly it is due to its size. For example, a ½ carat diamond is equivalent to a 50 pts diamond. Therefore .50 ct = 50 pts. Diamond color ranges from D, which represents colorless, all the way to Z. The scale is as follows: D-E-F colorless G-H-I-J near colorless K-L-M faint yellow N-Z very light yellow Essentially, the price of a diamond depends on the color, clarity, cut and carat of the diamond. The whiter the color, the clearer and less imperfections a diamond has, the larger the carat and the more atypical the cut are all crucial factors affecting the price of a diamond.

Q:	I am looking to buy a men's ring for the first time and I don't know what my ring size is. How do I size myself for a ring?
A:	I suggest that visiting a local jewelry store (or even two to be sure!) and getting your finger sized is the optimal solution. All other ring-sizing devices are inaccurate and may lead to inexact results!
Q:	I have recently been browsing your site for a diamond ring, and have found one I wish to purchase, however, I was unable to find anywhere whether your prices are in american or canadian currency.
